Looked at whether the Department of Health and Social Services had adequately met its key responsibilities for the protection and well-being of children, youth, and their families, including child and family services, adoptions, and the Public Health Strategy. Also looked at whether the four departments (Health and Social Services; Culture, Language, Elders and Youth; Education; and Justice) had a coordinated approach to providing the programs and services related to the protection and well-being of children, youth, and their families.
