Gender is not an obvious component of either land claims or environmental assessment policies. Yet, these policies and the processes they initiated are greatly influencing the lives of Inuit women in Labrador. The connections among Aboriginal land claims, major resource development projects and environmental assessment from the sub-text of the report.
