This code identifies specific measures to improve the flexibility, responsiveness, and consistency of funding arrangements between the Government of Canada and the voluntary sector. Building on the commitments in An Accord Between the Government of Canada and the Voluntary Sector, signed in December 2001, the code explains the respective and joint obligations of each sector in regard to funding practices. Contains appendices describing the voluntary sector, types of direct funding mechanisms, and strategic investment approach
