Carbon dioxide capture and storage technology (CCS) : M159-1/2005-MRC

Canada is an acknowledged world leader in the development of Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage Technology (CCS). In recognition of this, Natural Resources Canada has committed itself to further develop CCS technology as a component of a larger package of energy science and technology initiatives. This interactive CD-ROM was created with the goal of increasing stakeholder awareness and education with respect to the application of CCS technologies, from a Canadian perspective. The intended audience is government, non-governmental organizations, industry and academia worldwide. More specifically, the CD is intended for those interested in the application of CCS technologies in integrated energy systems to help achieve climate change mitigation through carbon dioxide emissions reduction.
