This report sets out the theoretical considerations and empirical results of a study intended to develop a Western Canadian corn market model for inclusion in Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Food and Agriculture Regional Model. Includes a multiplier analysis of the model’s performance, an explanation of the model’s analytical limitations, and historical data on Manitoba grain production.
