This report examines the key issues related to suicide among Aboriginal young people and provides statistical data and information on the work of the Suicide Prevention Advisory Group. It emphasizes an evidence-based approach to prevention; effective and integrated health care; community-driven programs; and the importance of identity, resilience, and culture. It offers recommendations in each area. Appendices include descriptions of the group’s members, its terms of reference, research, and community agencies.
