This final report examines the subject of women’s equality in Canada, and includes short-term recommendations in the area of government policy and management, and longer-term recommendations in the legislative sphere. The report provides data on the demographic makeup, educational background, professional and leadership achievements, and health and welfare of women in Canada, and compares Canada’s record in these areas to those of other countries.
