"The survey consisted of telephone interviews conducted with a sample of owners/managers from a database provided by Parks Canada. The survey consisted of 291 interviews with owners of historic sites throughout Canada, conducted between October 20 and December 7, 2004. A more detailed description of the methodology used to conduct this study is provided at the back of this report."--p. 5.
