This included an analysis of past surveys and commercial fisheries data from the 1996-99 observer program. the document contains a general description of the recent fisheries in all areas, the results of two meetings held with trawl fisherman to discuss the status of Pacific cod fisheries, a description of the groundfish assemblage survey results in Hecate Strait (1984-1998), a description of the observer data from Hecate Strait (1996-1999), and a comparison between the two in June of 1996 and 1998.
