520 | 3 |aTo monitor fisheries population dynamics, a fishery-dependent sampling program was initiated in 1972 for Lake Whitefish in Great Slave Lake (GSL). A set of fish biological data on scale age, fork length and dressed weight has been collected annually. The objectives of this study are to summarize the spatiotemporal variations in the biological characteristics and to evaluate the potential association of these biological characteristics with cumulative impacts from localized hydrology, meteorology, global climate changes and exploitation during 1972-2004. |
