"This document provides infection prevention and control (IPC) guidance for safe prehospital care and ground transport of suspected persons under investigation (PUI) or confirmed Ebola virus disease (EVD) cases. Its use is intended for prehospital personnel including, but not limited to, medical first responders, paramedics, emergency ground transport personnel, firefighters, enforcement officers, and personnel within prehospital organizations responsible for education and training for occupational health and safety (OHS) and IPC.
