This annual publication presents summary data on cases dealt with in youth courts across Canada. Information is presented by age and gender of the accused, offence, court decision and disposition. Tables and graphs are presented in two sections. The first section provides a national overview of youth courts in Canada. The second consists of jurisdictional overviews, in which tables and graphs are arranged by jurisdiction. In addition, a brief description of the justice process within each province and territory is provided at the beginning of each section.
