Regional geological reconnaissance has identified several regions of NTS 97A that should be re-mapped owing to mis-identification of Cambrian sedimentary units as belonging to the Proterozoic Rae Group. We recommend that the Brock River area, originally mapped by helicopter reconnaissance in 1968, be re-mapped using current stratigraphic knowledge and terminology. |
