"Bill C-15, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 22, 2016 and other measures (short title: Budget Implementation Act, 2016, No. 1), was introduced and read for the first time in the House of Commons on 20 April 2016. The bill is intended to implement the government's overall budget policy, introduced in the House of Commons on 22 March 2016. Bill C-15 is the first implementation bill of the March 2016 budget. Consistent with established legislative practice, a second such bill may follow in the fall"--Background.
