The Guide is organized to take the user from a discussion of the characteristics of architectural precast concrete, through a presentation on the fundamentals of building envelope performance, to best practice assemblies, details and specifications. The final two chapters deal with quality assurance during the design, fabrication and erection process, and maintenance and renewal of the architectural precast during its service life."--p. 3.
