"The first part of the Report of the Fifth Census of Canada. This part contains statistics of the area and population of the Dominion enumerated under date of the first day of June 1911 for provinces, territories, districts and subdistricts, together with comparative populations for the Fifth Census taken in 1901. The subdistricts ordinarily consist of townships, parishes, cities, towns and incorporated villages, and the population is therefore readily classified as rural and urban"--p. iii.
