The goal of the research is to identify ideas and strategies, both traditional and innovative, which hold promise for bringing about improvement in the economies of Aboriginal communities and in the economic circumstances of Aboriginal peoples. The researchers examined a broad range of historical factors covering the Metis and the community of Regina. In addition, they gathered and analyzed demographic data which reflects the economic status of Metis in Regina.
