520 |aThis case study was conducted in the British Columbia coastal fishing community of Alert Bay located on Cormorant Island adjacent to the Northeast coast of Vancouver Island, 330 km Northwest of Vancouver. While addressing the requirements of the Royal Commission we also sought to address those of the Nimpkish Band which were to disclose the on-going impediments to development in the interest of stimulating mitigation, and to generate appropriate planning information for internal use.
