"This report responds to Public Communication CAN 2016-1 (Colombia) submitted to the Canadian National Administrative Office (NAO) by the Canadian Labour Congress and five Colombian labour organizations pursuant to Article 10 and Annex 2 of the Canada-Colombia Agreement on Labour Cooperation (CCOALC). In accordance with the Guidelines, the Canadian NAO conducted a review and has prepared this public report within 180 days of the acceptance of the Public Communication. The Public Communication alleges that the Government of Colombia has failed to comply with its obligations under the CCOALC by failing to provide adequate protection for internationally recognized labour principles and rights"--Executive summary, p. ii.
