"Estimates of the fecundity of haddock populations in NAFO Divisions 4W, 4X and 5Z in 1969-73 are listed in appendix tables. They are the product of a collaborative project between Canadian and USA government scientists to describe spatial and temporal variations in the fecundity of haddock populations on the Scotian Shelf and Georges Bank. The processes involved in obtaining these estimates, and the factors that may limit the usefulness of some of the data, are described"--Abstract, p. iii.
