"This Policy and Practice Report (“PPR”) provides an overview of Department of Fisheries and Oceans (“DFO”) policies and programs relating to salmon habitat enhancement and restoration. It also provides information on provincial habitat restoration programs that are potentially relevant to sockeye and information on federal and provincial government-linked organisations and programs that are involved in salmon habitat restoration. The information in this PPR is derived from documents and information disclosed to the commission or otherwise publicly available."--p. 5.
