"In October and November of 2016, the Subcommittee on International Human Rights of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development (the Subcommittee) studied the human rights situation of the Yezidis, Christians and other religious and ethnic minorities in Syria and Iraq. The Subcommittee focused its attention on Nineveh Governorate (Nineveh) in northwestern Iraq, whose capital is Mosul"--p. 3.
