"A meeting of the Zonal Peer Review Process on the Pre-COSEWIC (Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada) Assessment for Lumpfish was held November 17-18, 2015 in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador (NL). The overall objective of this meeting was to peer-review existing Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) information relevant to the COSEWIC status assessment for Lumpfish in Canadian waters, considering data related to the status and trends of, and threats to this species inside and outside of Canadian waters, and the strengths and limitations of the information. These Proceedings include an abstract for each presentation and a summary of the relevant discussions and the key conclusions reached at the meeting.
