"In this Newsletter we have tried to capture what we felt was the spirit of the Arctic Women's Workshop. For those who were there, and who remember it as a good and worthwhile experience, this Newsletter will, I hope, be both a collection of memories and a guide to use in discussing what happened with those who were not there. For those who weren't there, if you get the impression of good humour, exhaustion, satisfaction, discouragement, hope, bewilderment, and the joy that comes from passing through such an experience in a group, then you will begin to know what happened in Toronto."--Introduction.
