Set of reports analysing the results of the 1956 Census of Population and Agriculture. The subjects covered include: growth of the population; rural and urban distribution; age composition; marital status; households and families; and agriculture. Each report contains an interpretation of some phase of the subject matter of the census. In addition to the textual portion of these reports there is also a supplementary tabular section providing additional information as to what is given in the summary tables throughout the text. The various parts, when bound together, comprise Vol. III of the 1956 Census of Canada.
