"Uranium extractions of at least 95% were obtained from Milliken Lake, Algom Quirke, Pronto, Algom Nordic, Stanleigh and Can-Met ores by the air oxidation sulphuric acid pressure leaching method, using a mechanically agitated autoclave. Although there was some variation in the amenability of the ores to the treatment, in all cases effective uranium extraction was obtained with 200 psig air pressure at 150°C for 4 hr and an air flow rate of 2 litres per minute per kilogram of ore."--Synopsis.
