"The data presented in the following set of tables have been compiled from information collected from, one in five households in the June 1981 census. This set of tables includes highlight information on ethnicity, language, place of birth, immigration, citizenship and religion of the population, on income of persons and families as well as information on value of dwellings and shelter costs. Some tables include historical comparisons while others refer only to 1981. Geographical areas covered differ from table to table."--p. [4]
