“The Rocky Mountain Ridged Mussel (Gonidea angulata) was listed as a species of Special Concern under the Species at Risk Act (SARA) in 2005. The Management Plan for the Rocky Mountain Ridged Mussel (Gonidea angulata) in British Columbia was finalized and published on the Species at Risk Public Registry in 2011. The management goal for the Rocky Mountain Ridged Mussel is to “maintain viable, self-sustaining, ecologically functioning and broadly distributed populations within suitable habitats in its current distribution/range in B.C.”. This report documents the progress of Management Plan implementation for the Rocky Mountain Ridged Mussel in Canada for the period 2011-2016"--Executive summary, p. ii.
