"This report examines the major police staffing and deployment models used in Canada by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Ontario Provincial Police, Sûreté du Québec, and Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal. The Ministère de la Sécurité publique du Québec’s approach to permanent minimum staffing levels for police organizations is also reviewed.
