"The Manuscript Report Series/Travail inédit is a reference collection of unedited, unpublished research reports reproduced in limited numbers. The series is intended to meet immediate research or site development needs and to have Parks Canada work on record. ... As a general rule, reports in the series appear in the language of the author; they are not translated and are identified as "Manuscript Report" or "Travail inédit" depending on the language in which they were written. ... In the following list of Manuscript Reports printed to date, the date cited in parentheses refers to the date the report was written, not the date it was reproduced in the series.The list also identifies those reports that have been or will shortly be published in Parks Canada's Research Bulletin or the for-sale series Canadian Historic Sites: Occasional Papers in Archaeology and History (see Appendix B; see Appendix C for the parallel, French- language version) and History and Archaeology (see Appendix D; see Appendix E for the parallel, French language version)"--p.1-3.
