"The effects of variations in the partial pressure of oxygen in the sintering atmosphere on the ceramic and magnetic properties of strontium ferrite ceramic magnets have been investigated. It was found that, at given sintering parameters (i.e. temperature, time, heating rate, etc.), the increase of oxygen partial pressure reduced the degree of sintering, and consequently decreased the remanent magnetization and increased the coercive force"--Abstract, p. 9.
