"The evaluation covered the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch Mental Wellness (MW) Programs for the period from April 2010 to March 2015. The evaluation was undertaken in fulfillment of the requirements of the Financial Administration Act and the Treasury Board of Canada’s Policy on Evaluation (2009). The purpose of the evaluation was to assess the relevance and performance of the MW Programs (including the Brighter Futures (BF) program, Building Healthy Communities (BHC) program, National Aboriginal Youth Suicide Prevention Strategy (NAYSPS), National Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program (NNADAP), National Youth Solvent Abuse Program (NYSAP), and the Indian Residential Schools Resolution Health Support Program (IRS RHSP)) as well as the activities of the Mental Wellness Teams"--Executive summary, p. ii.
