"The objectives of this project were to: 1. review the relevant codes and standards and contact appropriate authorities to approve domestic hot water tanks as hydronic space heating appliances in residential applications; 2. determine the state and condition of domestic hot water tanks currently being used as combination hot water and spaceheating appliances; and 3. analyze the cost effectiveness of utilizing domestic hot water tanks as space heating appliances"--Exec.
