"To guide Wasagaming in the challenges it faces, Parks Canada, in consultation with the Wasagaming Community Plan Steering Committee, has prepared this Plan. This Plan permits some growth and is designed to make Wasagaming a healthy community that respects its cultural heritage, the environment and its people, as well as ensuring future development respects the natural and cultural heritage of the community and the thoughtful use and stewardship of that heritage"--Background, p. 4.
