"Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) commissioned a study to collect information on the Aboriginal homeless population of British Columbia. The purpose of the work was to identify the organizations most concerned with the continuum of services relating to Aboriginal homelessness, point out the gaps in services, identify essential services, provide a profile of Aboriginal homeless, describe demographics including social idnicators and root causes, and make recommendations on HRDC's long term strategy on addressing Aboriginal homelessness including funding allocation methodology
