"This report describes the progress that has been made towards developing a comprehensive sediment budget for the Lower Fraser River. ... The study area extends 85 km from Mission City to the mouth of the river at Sand Heads and includes the main navigable portion of the river below New Westminstr. The analysis provides a means for evaluating the relation between the incoming sediment loads, the past dredging activities and the channel changes that have taken place along the river over the past 20 years"--Introd.
