"‘To determine the most optimal method for the clean-up of contaminated sites in fractured bedrock or clay environments, a detailed conceptual model must be developed. To develop the conceptual model, characterization of the transport properties of the formation is required. This method is designed to accommodate characterisation at sites where contamination is severe and costs of well drilling are prohibitive"--Management persepctive.
