5200 |a"At the request of DFO and DOE, Pacific and Yukon Region this mathematical modelling study of the sensitivity of the thermal regime of the Arrow Lakes was undertaken to assist in the assessment of the environmental impact of proposed hydroelectric power generation of the thermal regime of the Arrow Lakes. This document reports on the temperature, total dissolved solids distributions and exchange flows which justify the model assumptions as well as the model results. These results could form the basis for future work should the ecosystem of the Columbia River Basin prove critical to the predicted changes"--Management perspective.
