"Longitudinal panel data from the Canadian manufacturing sector are used to model the entry process and to investigate the existence of entry barriers. The paper investigates the robustness of previous findings by 1) using a variety of estimation procedudres, 2) testing different model specifications, 3) varying the measures used to evaluate the importance of entry."--Abstract.
