"A meeting of the Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Regional Peer Review Process on the state of knowledge of the oceanography and water exchange on the south coast of Newfoundland to support the development of Bay Management Areas for finfish aquaculture was held March 25-26, 2015 in St. John’s, NL. Its purpose was to review the characterization of the oceanographic conditions and zones of influence associated with aquaculture activities in the Coast of Bays area. This included advice on the physical environment based on the current state of knowledge as well as an initial understanding of the potential exchange of water between zones where aquaculture activities take place and will support the development of Bay Management Areas (BMAs)."--Summary, p. iv.
