"This, the first national conference on statistics of higher education called by the Dominion Bureau of Statistics, was planned in order that the Bureau's service to higher education might be improved. Discussion was confined to statistics of students and teachers, for consideration of financial statistics had been initiated earlier with the Canadian Association of University Business Officers"--Preface.
