"This second issue of Quebec Public Sector Revenue and Expenditure - A Test of the New Public Sector Universe presents financial statistics for all institutions comprising the public sector of Quebec. It contains transitional data on the revenue and expenditure of the Quebec Provincial Government, Local Governments, Provincial Government Business Enterprise and Local Government Business enterprise. The statistics are presented separately for each level of government showing its sub-components as well as for the consolidated provincial and local governments. A diagrammatic presentation of the main components of the public sector are shown in the Public Sector Chart following the introduction. Concepts and definitions employed in compiling the data are explained in detail in the main body of the publication under Concepts, Coverage, Methods and Data Quality"--Introd., p. 13.
