“The objective of this document is to compile and review the science information basis to conduct a preliminary risk assessment of spatial management options for Arctic Surfclam (Mactromeris polynyma) in Atlantic Canada. This document includes the reproduction of information presented in previous assessment documents as well as a review and analysis of available fishery, survey, biological, and ecological information. Given that there is little recent information available for Grand Bank and significant time constraints, this data review and analysis largely focuses on Banquereau"--Introd., p. 1.
