"Under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act, Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has concluded that the addition of new uses on wheat (spring, winter and durum), barley, oats, rye (spring and fall), triticale and canarygrass seeds to the product label of Prosaro XTR Fungicide, containing technical grade prothioconazole, tebuconazole and the safener mefenpyr-diethyl, and of new uses on rye, triticale and canarygrass seeds to the product label of Prosaro 250 EC Fungicide, containing technical grade prothioconazole and tebuconazole, are acceptable. The evaluation of this prothioconazole application indicated that the end-use product has value and the human health and environmental risks associated with the new use are acceptable"--P. 1.
