Towards this goal, limnological studies were carried out during the winters of 1982/83 and 1983/84 on lake Laberge, a long (48 km), narrow (4.2 km), deep (mean depth = 54 m), medium residence-time (Tr = 1.06 a) lake in the Yukon Territory.
