"This document presents the results of an evaluation of the Classification Program (the program), which is managed by the Workforce, Organization and Classification (WOC) Directorate within the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer (OCHRO) at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS). The evaluation was carried out by the TBS Internal Audit and Evaluation Bureau (IAEB), with the assistance of Goss Gilroy Inc. It assessed the relevance and performance of the program, with an emphasis on implementation and the assessment of the achievement of the immediate outcomes of the program. The evaluation also assessed the efficiency of the program, and the extent to which it is likely to contribute to government efficiency overall. The evaluation was conducted between January and May 2017 and covered the period beginning fiscal year 2010 to 2011 and ending fiscal year 2016 to 2017. It examined the use of funds assigned in 2010 and 2013 to administer the program"--P. 1.
