“This document serves to assess the status of the Sea Cucumber (Cucumaria frondosa) resource on the St. Pierre Bank in Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization (NAFO) Subdivision 3Ps. The information presented follows from a formal scientific assessment and regional peer review process conducted in February, 2017. The assessment focused on identifying the status of the stock to allow management to make informed decisions, and providing data that will be used to assist in the development of an Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP)”--Introd., p. 1.
