"Northeastern Ontario peatlands were studied to examine differences in geochemistry and biota related to acid deposition. Bogs and poor fens at Wanapitei, an area that has received a high rate of acid deposition, were compared to bogs and fens at Ranger, where deposition has been lower."--Abstract, p. iv.
