There are many other more local monitoring programs (e.g., tracking owls in Manitoba, the Red-shouldered Hawk Survey in Ontario, and game bird harvest surveys in many provinces) and a few national-scale surveys aimed at particular species (e.g., the Canadian Lakes Loon Survey), which are not covered in any detail here"--Introd.
