"The response of breeding birds to diameter limit and selection cutting of dry interior Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii ) and Ponderosa Pine (Pinus Ponderosa) forests was studied between 1983 and 1986. Multivariate analyses showed that the avifauna and the vegetation of the study areas near Princeton. B.C. were distinct from the birds and forests studied near Merritt, B.C."--Abstract.
